On October 10, 2024: MS was once again able to see the Northern Lights. I was in Natchez this time and didn't see the brilliant lights that were seen in northern MS. I was located on the MS River and there was too much light here to see them well.

May 10, 2024: a rare event occurred, we were able to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in MS! Sunspot AR3664 caused a G5 Geomagnetic storm that allowed those of us in the southern US to see the lights.
